Ingredients
- Spring roll wrappers8
- Ripe bananas4
- Brown sugar2 tbsp
- Cinnamon1 tsp
- Honey1 tbsp
- Melted butter2 tbsp
Method
Prep the bananas
Halve each banana lengthwise then crosswise to get four pieces per fruit. Toss them gently with brown sugar and half the cinnamon so they begin to glaze as they cook.
Wrap snugly
Place a banana piece near one corner of each wrapper, fold the sides in and roll tightly, sealing with a dab of water. A snug roll stops the banana leaking out as it softens.
Butter the rolls
Brush each roll all over with melted butter and set them seam-side down. The butter is what gives the wrapper its rich golden, crisp finish.
Make the dusting
Mix the remaining cinnamon with a little extra sugar in a small bowl ready for serving. Having it ready means you can dust the rolls the moment they come out hot.
Air-fry until crisp
Cook at 180C for 10 minutes, turning once, until the wrappers are crisp and deep golden. Drizzle with honey and dust with the cinnamon sugar while still warm.
