Ingredients
- pizza base1 medium
- pizza sauce3 tbsp
- mozzarella cheese80 g
- capsicum1 small
- onion1 small
- sweet corn3 tbsp
- tomato1 small
Method
Sauce the base
Spread the pizza sauce over the base in an even layer, then cover it with the grated mozzarella. Take the sauce right to the rim so the crust edge picks up flavour too. A steady base layer keeps the toppings from sliding off as they cook.
Chop the veggies
Cut the capsicum, onion and tomato into thin, even slices and drain the sweet corn well. Thin slices soften in the short cook time instead of staying raw, and draining the corn keeps extra water off the cheese so it browns.
Layer toppings
Spread all the vegetables and corn evenly over the cheese, keeping the layer light so it is not piled high. An even, thin scatter lets the heat reach every piece, so the veg chars nicely rather than steaming into a soggy heap.
Air fry
Air fry at 190°C for 9 min until the cheese melts into a golden sheet and the vegetables soften and char at the edges. Let the pizza sit for a minute before slicing so the cheese firms up just enough to hold its shape.
