Ingredients
- Plain naan2 pieces
- Paneer cubes150 g
- Tikka masala paste2 tbsp
- Mozzarella, grated100 g
- Onion and capsicum, diced1/2 cup
- Fresh coriander2 tbsp
Method
Marinate the paneer
Toss the paneer cubes with the tikka masala paste until each piece is evenly coated. Rest it for 10 minutes so the spices soak in and the cubes take on a deep orange colour before they cook.
Prep the naan
Brush the underside of each naan with a thin film of oil to help it crisp against the basket. Spread a spoon of leftover tikka paste thinly over the top to work as the sauce layer.
Build the toppings
Scatter the mozzarella over the naan, then arrange the marinated paneer, onion, and capsicum on top. Leave small gaps between the pieces so the heat can circulate and the cheese bubbles evenly.
Finish and air-fry
Slide the naan into the basket without overlapping and air-fry at 190°C for 9 min until the cheese blisters and the edges turn crisp and golden. Shower with fresh coriander before slicing.
