Ingredients
- flatbread1
- pizza sauce3 tbsp
- cheese1/2 cup
- capsicum1/4 cup
- tomato1/4 cup
- oregano1/2 tsp
Method
Prep the base
Set the flatbread on a sheet of foil cut to fit your basket. Spread the pizza sauce right to the edges, which keeps the rim from drying out and browning too hard before the middle is done.
Add toppings
Scatter the cheese, capsicum and tomato over the sauce, then sprinkle the oregano on top. Pat the tomato dry first if it looks wet, as extra moisture can leave the base soft in the middle.
Preheat
Warm the air fryer to 180°C for 3 minutes before the pizza goes in. Starting in a hot basket sets and crisps the base straight away, so it does not turn soft under the toppings.
Air fry
Air fry at 180°C for 8 min until the cheese is fully melted and bubbling and the base is crisp at the edges. A crisp underside means the flatbread has set and will hold its toppings without bending.
