Ingredients
- Bread slices6 slices
- Pizza sauce6 tbsp
- Mozzarella cheese1 cup, grated
- Capsicum and onion1 cup, diced
- Sweet corn1/2 cup
- Oregano and chilli flakes1 tsp
Method
Prep the bases
Lightly toast the bread slices in the air fryer for two minutes so they firm up before you add any topping. A firm base is what stops the classic soggy pizza bottom. Let the slices cool a little before you spoon on the sauce.
Sauce and load
Spread a good tablespoon of pizza sauce on each slice, right up to the edges so no corner stays dry. Scatter the diced capsicum, onion and sweet corn evenly across the top. Even coverage means every bite carries flavour, not just the middle.
Crown with cheese
Pile the grated mozzarella over the vegetables, then finish with a shower of oregano and chilli flakes. Press the cheese down gently so it anchors the toppings in place. A generous cheese layer melts into a golden blanket that holds everything together.
Air-fry until bubbly
Place the slices flat in a single layer without stacking, so hot air reaches every top. Air-fry at 180°C for 7 min until the cheese is molten and lightly browned at the edges. Slice on the diagonal and eat while the cheese still pulls into strings.
