Ingredients
- Bread slices6 slices
- Nutella6 tbsp
- Melted butter2 tbsp
- Powdered sugar2 tbsp
- Cinnamon powder1/2 tsp
Method
Flatten the bread
Trim the crusts off each slice and roll them flat with a rolling pin until thin and pliable. Pressing firmly stops the rolls from cracking later and helps them seal cleanly.
Fill and roll
Spread a tablespoon of Nutella along one edge of each slice, leaving a small border. Roll tightly into a cigar shape and press the seam so it stays shut while air-frying.
Butter the outside
Brush every roll generously with melted butter on all sides. This is what turns the bread golden and gives that crackly crust instead of a dry, toasted finish.
Prepare the dusting
Mix the powdered sugar with cinnamon in a shallow plate and set it aside. You will toss the hot rolls in this the moment they come out for maximum cling.
Air-fry until golden
Arrange the rolls seam-side down in a single layer and air-fry at 180C for 8 minutes, turning once halfway. Roll them in the cinnamon sugar while still hot, then let cool one minute so the filling sets enough to bite.
