Ingredients
- Baguette or pav1 loaf
- Softened butter4 tbsp
- Minced garlic6 cloves
- Chopped coriander and parsley3 tbsp
- Grated mozzarella1/2 cup
- Red chilli flakes1/2 tsp
Method
Make garlic butter
Mash the softened butter with the minced garlic, chopped coriander and parsley and a pinch of salt into a green, fragrant spread. Let it sit 5 min so the raw garlic mellows and blends smoothly into the butter.
Slice and slather
Split the loaf lengthways or cut thick diagonal slices, then spread the garlic butter right to the edges of each cut face. Pushing it into every dip means no bite comes out dry or plain.
Top with cheese
Scatter the grated mozzarella and red chilli flakes evenly over the buttered bread. A thin, even layer melts into a crisp golden top, while a thick pile turns soft and rubbery.
Air-fry till bubbly
Set the bread cheese-side up and air-fry at 180°C for 6 min until the edges are crisp and the cheese is golden and bubbling. Cut into fingers and serve hot for the best stretch.
